Returning from a mission, our 2 Tomcats fly overhead the carrier as we await our landing time. As the time arrives, we sweep the wings back, accelerate, and head toward the ship as we prepare for the "break", a 90 degree sharp turn designed to slow the aircraft down to landing speed. 1988.
