Back in 2015 there was a flyover of Washington DC by World War 2 aircraft to honor the 70th anniversary of V-E Day. The airfield at Culpeper, Virginia was chosen to be one of the staging fields for some of the flyover aircraft. Here, we see 3 P-51 Mustang aircraft and one P-40 Warhawk airplane lined up showing off their colors and designs. In the background is a Navy PBY aircraft.;
